Zech. 9:14-16 says, " the LORD shall be seen over them (the Sign of the Son of Man seen in the sky, Mt. 24:30, Rev. 6:14f), and his arrow (the Sword of the Lord, Isa. 34:6) shall go forth as the lightning: and THE LORD GOD SHALL BLOW THE TRUMPET, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, LIFTED UP as an ensign upon his land."
The Lord's land is both in Heaven and on Earth. Those that have accepted Christ as their Messiah will be lifted up to HIS LAND IN HEAVEN (John 14:2) in 2 ranks, at the Pre-Trib Rapture and at the Pre-Wrath Rapture. After the 2nd Rapture, the Israelites left on Earth will be saved in a day--that day (Isa. 66:8). They will live on into the Millennium on Earth.
Jer 12:12 says, "The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace." The Sword of the Lord is the "flaming sword" of Gen. 3:24. It is "the curse" of Zech. 5:1-4. It is twice as long as it is wide, an asteroid that breaks apart. Rev. 8:8 and 10 describe the pieces hitting Earth. Here is a picture of the Anne Frank asteroid, so we can visualize "the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth (Zech. 5:3). One piece is as large as a mountain. The other piece is called an "aster" (star, meteorite or asteroid).
Mat 24:30 says, "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." The Second Advent is still 7 months away (Eze. 39:12,13), but this sign is seen on Earth on the day that Christ receives his kingdom and golden crown in Heaven.
All Christ's saints will be gathered to "the general assembly" in Heaven that day. Heb. 12:23-28 says, "ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we ESCAPE (be Raptured), if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven (the "last trump" of God): Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear."
Mat 24:31 tells us about the saints that were taken to Heaven in the 1st Rapture being gathered to the general assembly in Heaven on the day of the 2nd Rapture. It says, "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
Mar 13:27 tells us about the Tribulation saints being gathered to the general assembly in Heaven. It says, "And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (Rapture 2) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."
The 1st "trump of God" calls the Bride of Christ up to Heaven before the Tribulation (I Thess. 4:13-18). The "last trump" of God calls the Tribulation saints up to Heaven before the Wrath of God is poured out on Earth. The asteroids are to hit Earth at noon that day.
Zeph. 2:1-5 says, "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired (Israel); Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid (i.e., caught up to Heaven in Rapture 2) in the day of the LORD'S anger. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast."
The mountain sized asteroid of Rev. 8:8 will impact the Mediterranean Sea and bring woe to those on the coast. The asteroid of Rev. 8:10 will destroy Babylon in Iraq. Amos 1:7 says, "I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof." First a fire storm will destroy, and then a tsunami will wipe it clean.
May we all be hid in Heaven before that awful day.
(He isn't addressing me here.)
I have been to your message boards to civilly debate the against the pre trib rapture doctrine that you all make so much fuss about. It is a false doctrine with NOT 1 passage of scripture declaring it. You all KNOW that in an honest debate, staying and standing ONLY in the bible it has NO ground to stand on. The pre trib rapture doctrine was NEVER even heard of until the 1830s. It is simply a doctrine held so popular because the words are comforting (though VERY misleading)....
Every doctrine of God such as salvation, baptism, and yes even the rapture has scripture DECLARING what we are to believe concerning it. We certainly will be raptured, but 1 Cor. 15:20-23 declares it is "at His coming". Rev 11:15-18 declares that the rewarding of the saints takes place at the 7th trump. Rev 20:1-4 declares the resurrection to be at the end of the tribulation. The pre trib rapture doctrine DENIES OR IGNORES every one of these passages while at the same time having no scripture declaring it.
You stand on passages like Rev 3:10, then remove the word "temptation" there only to replace it with the word "tribulation". This is pure manipulation of scripture used ONLY because you can not point out 1 saying we are resurrected before the tribulation....
Hello and God bless you in Christ our Lord ...Its always great to meet a new sister and i'm glad you enjoy our magazine... please write back :) God bless you
I see the saints "out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation" in Rev. 5:9 in Heaven before the first seal on the Title Deed of the Earth is opened in Rev. 6. Those are caught up before the Tribulation. They are caught up in the first Rapture, before the Tribulation begins. They are caught up at the first "trump of God" (I Thess. 4:16).
Between the breaking of the sixth and seventh seals, I see another group of saints, "a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues" in Heaven in Rev. 7:9. "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him" (Rev. 7:14). This group is caught up at the "last trump" (I Cor. 15:51,52).
God gave us an original model upon which the two Raptures are based. The prototype is found in Num 10:1-4. It says, "the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee TWO TRUMPETS OF SILVER; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest USE THEM FOR THE CALLING OF THE ASSEMBLY, AND FOR THE JOURNEYING OF THE CAMPS. And when they shall blow with them (i.e., both), ALL the assembly (i.e., both those caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture and those caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture) shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation ('the general assembly... in heaven,' Heb. 12:23). And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes (elders), which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee."
John is one of the 24 elders. Right after he is caught up to Heaven in Rev. 4:1, we see him crowned and seated with the other 23 elders (12 patriarchs and 12 apostles of Israel that are caught up with him) in Rev. 4:4.
Isa 57:1-3 says, "The righteous (i.e., the Bride of Christ, the wise Philadelphian virgins) perisheth (abad, escapes, vanishes), and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away (acaph, gathered, removed, taken up; i.e., raptured), none considering (biyn, discerning, understanding) that THE RIGHTEOUS IS TAKEN AWAY FROM THE EVIL TO COME (i.e., taken away from the coming Tribulation). He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds (in glory, Psa. 149:5), each one walking in his uprightness. But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore." The first Rapture takes place when the Tribulation is near. Concerning the Day of God's Wrath at the end of the shortened Tribulation, all the saints are first gathered to the general assembly in Heaven. First, those already in Heaven, having been caught up before the Tribulation will be gathered. Mat 24:30 says, "then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven (Rev. 6:14f): and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
At the same time, the elect from the Earth will be called up to the general assembly at "the last trump." Mar 13:27 says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (THE PRE-WRATH RAPTURE (I Cor. 15:51,52) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN" (THOSE CAUGHT UP PREVIOUSLY AT THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE).
This day is like no other day--ever. It is Coronation Day, when Christ is crowned by his mother on his birthday. The prototype is in Song of Sol. 3:11. "Go forth," it says, "O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon (son of David, type of Christ, the greater Son of David) with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals (i.e., Marriage of the Lamb), and in the day of the gladness of his heart."
Rev 11:15-18 says, "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall REIGN for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art (on the 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord), and wast (at the First Advent), and art to come (7 months later [Eze. 39:12,13] at the Second Advent); because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry (Gog's army is attacking Israel, Eze. 38:18-20), and thy wrath is come (on Earth, the 7 trumpet judgments), and the time of the dead, that they should be judged (at the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven), and that thou shouldest give REWARD unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; AND shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth" (with the 7 trumpet judgments).
Pseudo-Ephraem (c. 374-627 AD) understood that there would be a Rapture preceeding the Tribulation.
In his approx. 1500 word sermon, "On the Last Times, the Antichrist, and the End of the World," Pseudo-Ephraem said, "All the saints and elect of God are GATHERED TOGETHER BEFORE THE TRIBULATION, which is to come, AND ARE TAKEN TO THE LORD, in order that they may not see at any time the confusion which overwhelms the world because of our sins." (Alexander, Paul J. "The Byzantine Apocalyptic Tradition [Berkeley: Univ. of CA Press, 1985] p. 210).
He also said, "Why therefore do we not reject every care of earthly actions and PREPARE OURSELVES FOR THE MEETING OF THE LORD CHRIST, SO THAT HE MAY DRAW US FROM THE CONFUSION, WHICH OVERWHELMS ALL THE WORLD? Believe you me, dearest brother, because the coming (advent) of the Lord is nigh, believe you me, because the end of the world is at hand, believe me, because it is the very last time. Or do you not believe unless you see with your eyes? See to it that this sentence be not fulfilled among you of the prophet who declares: 'Woe to those who desire to see the day of the Lord?' FOR ALL THE SAINTS AND ELECT OF GOD ARE GATHERED, PRIOR TO THE TRIBULATION THAT IS TO COME, AND ARE TAKEN TO THE LORD LEST THEY SEE THE CONFUSION THAT IS TO OVERWHELM THE WORLD BECAUSE OF OUR SINS."
"And there will be a great tribulation, as there has not been since people began to be on earth...and no one is able to sell or buy of the grain of the harvest, unless he is the one who has the serpentine sign on the forehead or the hand. And when the three and a half years have been completed, the time of the Antichrist, through which he will have seduced the world, after the resurrection of the two prophets, in the hour which the world does not know and on the day which the enemy or the son of perdition does not know, will come the sign of the Son of Man, and coming forward the Lord shall appear with great power and much majesty, with the sign of salvation going before him, and also even with all the powers of the heavens with the whole chorus (i.e., all) of the saints". You do seem very learned in the scripture and to have studied this, and i would love discussing the rapture with you either by email or on our message board... we have a small but friendly board and we study a lot together.... not just the rapture of course but several things... I think you would feel at home there.
...feel free to post your premice there and we will discuss it if you like.... and feel free to post anywhere you like... i can tell you are a sister that esteems God's word and believes Him:) Thats what its all about. > > Rev. 4:1 says nothing about the church being caught up, but rather, John was called up in the spirit to behold the revelation that our Lord was about to show him....
> > Rev. 4: 4, Round about the throne were four and twenty seats and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment, and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
> > We see here that there are 24 seats positioned around the throne of God, and that there is one HUMAN seated in each seat. The word translated "seat" can also properly be translated "throne." People have long argued as to just who these 24 "elders" might be. The truth is that God simply does not tell us who they are.
I am so glad to see that you realize that a HUMAN is seated on each of the 24 thrones. You're halfway there already. Twenty-four humans have just been caught up to Heaven.
I think the elders are the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles. In Rev. 21:12, we find that on the 12 gates of the heavenly New Jerusalem are "the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel." In v. 14, we find that on the 12 foundations of New Jerusalem are "the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb."
John is an apostle and an elder. In II John, he starts out, "The ELDER unto the elect lady and her children." In III John, he starts out, "The ELDER unto the wellbeloved Gaius."
Peter is an apostle and an elder too. In 1Pe 5:1, he starts out, "The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an ELDER, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed."
All the other 10 apostles are elders. All 12 will be partakers of the glory that shall be revealed at the Pre-Trib Rapture.
When John is caught up to Heaven in Rev. 4:1, Peter is caught up. When John and Peter are caught up, the other 22 elders are caught up. When the 24 elders are caught up, we are caught up. Heb 11:40 says, "God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect."
All 24 elders are Israelites. The rest of the saints raised with them are out of all nations. Rev. 5:8,9 refers to the rest of the "saints. And they sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE AND NATION; And hast (at the Pre-Trib Rapture that is now past) made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall (in the future Kingdom of Christ) reign on (epi, over) the earth."
These saints are the Bride of Christ, the wise Philadelphian virgins for whom Jesus had no words of condemnation. They are caught up to Heaven before the 1st seal is broken in Rev. 6.
After the Pre-Trib Rapture, the Bride of Christ sings the NEW SONG. At the Pre-Wrath Rapture, none but the 144,000 Israelites sing the NEW SONG. Only the 144,000 of the Tribulation saints will be part of the Bride of Christ. The great multitude that can't be counted of Rev. 7:9,14 will be of the Body of Christ, but not of the Bride of Christ, who are the WISE VIRGINS (Mt. 25:1f).
Rev 14:3-5 says, "And they (144,000 of the Tribulation saints caught up to Heaven between the breaking of the 6th and 7th seals) sung as it were a NEW SONG before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and NO MAN COULD LEARN THAT SONG BUT THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; FOR THEY ARE VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found NO GUILE: for they are WITHOUT FAULT before the throne of God."
The Bride of Christ group must be wearing white robes of righteousness at the time of the Pre-Trib Rapture. Otherwise, they will be cast outside the Rapture door. Mt. 22:11-14 says, "when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN."
Luke 12:46 says, "The lord of that servant (the unwise or foolish servant) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off), and will appoint him his portion (the shortened Tribulation) with the unbelievers." Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (in the shortened Tribulation): THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH."
The setting of Rev. 17 is when the Pre-Trib Rapture takes place. Rev 17:12-14 says, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, WHICH HAVE RECEIVED NO KINGDOM AS YET; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM (CHRIST) ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL." These are the Bride of Christ, with him before the Tribulation starts, before the 10 kings of Rev. 13 receive their kingdoms.
We are called. We need to see to it that we will also be chosen, and faithful. We need to use I John 1:9, confess our sins so God can cleanse us of all unrighteousness. John 13:10 says, "Jesus saith to him (Peter), He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit." Agape
Jesus' name in Aramaic is Y'shua (Yeshua)
Jesus' name in Hebrew is Yehoshua
The name Yeshu is an acronym which actually means "May his name and memory be blotted out..."
It isn't confusing, it isn't up for debate, and it's been there in front of everyone's eyes for centuries but they are just too ignorant to understand it. Rich
(Gesenius) 1954 is salvation (Oshea, Hoshea, Hosea), Joshua's name before it was changed to Joshua, meaning YHVH is salvation. Yeshua means saviour.
(Gesinius) 3442 is Jeshua, a contracted form used in the later Hebrew, which is in the Greek Iesous.
I know that the Greek "Iesous" is "Jesus" in English. The Greek didn't have a "J."
The Hebrew "Yhowshuwa" is translated "Iesou" in the Greek translation called the Septuagint (LXX) executed at Alexandria in the third century.
For "Iesou," Brenton's English LXX has "Jesus."
Zec 3:8,9 (Brenton 3:9,10) Hear now, Jesus the high priest, thou, and thy neighbours that are sitting before thee: for they are diviners, for, behold, I bring forth my servant The Branch (Jesus is The Branch of YHVH). For as for the stone (heavenly planet) which I have set before the face of Jesus, on the one stone are seven eyes" (ayin, eyes, figuratively orbs; i.e., rings).
This planet Heaven literally has 7 rings around it. It is also the 7th lamp on the temple candlestick according to Josephus: (1) Sun, (2) Mercury, (3) Venus, (4) Earth, (5) Mars, (6) Jupiter and (7) Saturn. (Ant. III.VII. 7 and Wars V.V.5). The western lamp was always to be kept burning, so it represented the Sun. Then the eastern lamp was Saturn, the 3rd heaven from the Earth.
Concerning Paradise, Heaven, in 2Co 12:2-4 (KJV), Paul said, "I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the THIRD HEAVEN. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise."
This man was Paul himself. His teachings were true. He was taught by the Lord Yeshua himself. Paul first met Yeshua on the road to Damascus. The Resurrection and Ascension being past, Yeshua was in Heaven.
Acts 1:9-11 (KJV) says, "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
Nevertheless, in Acts 22:6-16 Paul said, "it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul (later named Paul), why persecutest thou me? And I answered, Who art thou, LORD? And he said unto me, I AM JESUS OF NAZARETH, whom thou persecutest. And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do. And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus. And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there, Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. And he said, The God of our fathers (YHVH king of Israel and YHVH of hosts, the first and the last, Isa. 44:6) hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest KNOW HIS WILL, and see that Just One (the one who said, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth'), and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. For thou shalt be his (Jesus of Nazareth's) witness unto all men (Jews and Gentiles) of what thou hast seen and heard. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (JESUS OF NAZARETH). Shalom and agape
