My reply to "THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH," by Eric Jewell, PART I

> > A Great Delusion
> > Resurrected Very Near The End Of The Tribulation
> > Yes We Go Through It

To me, "A Great Delusion" is the belief that there is no Pre-Trib Rapture of the Church. That Rapture is our "blessed hope" (2:13). II Thess. 4:17,18 says, "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (harpazo, plucked up with force, i.e., raptured) together with them in the clouds, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore COMFORT one another with these words."

The word translated "comfort" is parakaleo, to call near, invite, implore, beseech, entreat, pray and "exhort" (as translated in v.15). In Webster's, entreat means to ask earnestly or urgently; exhort means to to give warning by argument or advice. I beseech you urgently to lay aside your preconceived notions and think this through again.

> > The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory Born In 1830...
> > it was invented about 1830 by either Ms. MacDonald, or Mr. Darby, but it was never before taught in any church.

That isn't true. That is what the Preterists believe, but they also believe that Christ returned in 70 AD and that everything in The Revelation of Jesus Christ had been fulfilled by 70 AD. That would mean that the Day of God's Wrath had taken place by 70 AD and that Christians were on the receiving end of God's Wrath. That can't be, for 1Th 5:9 says, "GOD HATH NOT APPOINTED US TO WRATH, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."

Pseudo-Ephraim's around 1500-word sermon was given some time between 374 and 627 AD. This minister taught that the Rapture will be BEFORE THE TRIBULATION. In his sermon "ON THE LAST TIMES, THE ANTICHRIST, AND THE END OF THE WORLD," Pseudo- Ephraem said, "ALL THE SAINTS AND ELECT OF GOD ARE GATHERED TOGETHER BEFORE THE TRIBULATION, WHICH IS TO COME, AND ARE TAKEN TO THE LORD, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY NOT SEE AT ANY TIME THE CONFUSION WHICH OVERWHELMS THE WORLD because of our sins."

> > the pre-tribulation rapture is NEVER declared in scripture. Not so much as a single passage tells us we are raptured before the tribulation...There is no REAL study of comparing scripture with scripture. My experience in sharing scripture is that once men begin to seek the scriptures for what IS said, and IF they believe the scripture as it is written, then men and women no longer believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.

I have studied Scripture as hard and as deep as possible for over 40 years. The more I study, the more certain I am that there are two Raptures, Pre-Trib and Post-Trib. Have you looked into that possibility yet?

Both Raptures mention the trump of God. The first "trump of God" is in I Thess. 4:16. The "last trump" of God is in I Cor. 15:51,52. These two trumps of God are not any of the seven trumpet judgments. Those trumps are not sounded by God. They are sounded by angels (Rev. 8:1f) after the 7th seal is broken on the Title Deed of the Earth. Like Solomon, Christ will purge his kingdom of evil at its beginning. We are not appointed to that wrath of God that follows the breaking of the 7th seal. Both Raptures precede the wrath of God.

The prior types of these two trumps of God are in Nu. 10:1-4. It says, "the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee TWO TRUMPETS OF SILVER; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly (in Heaven, Heb. 12:23), and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them (both), ALL THE ASSEMBLY SHALL ASSEMBLE THEMSELVES TO THEE AT THE DOOR of the tabernacle of the congregation (at the Pre-Wrath Rapture). And if they blow but with ONE TRUMPET (as in I Thess. 4:16), then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel (the 12 patriarchs and the 12 apostles, the elders of Rev. 4:4, including John), shall gather (be raptured when John is caught up in Rev. 4:1) themselves unto thee." We see all 24 crowned and seated on thrones in Rev. 4:4, right after John is caught up with the other 23 elders in Rev. 4:1).

> > 1 Cor. 15:[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality
> > At least we have established here in this scripture, the fact that there is indeed a day coming, when the dead will rise incorruptible, and that those living will be changed into glorified bodies. There are several more scriptures as well which establish this, but again, no-where at all do we see that this takes place before the tribulation. As a matter of fact, we see this doesn't happen at a first trump, or any trump BUT THE LAST. The last trump of God, which we can find in Revelation 11:15-19.

If there is a last trump of God, there must be a first trump of God. The 7 trumpets sounded by angels are not the same as the TWO TRUMPS OF GOD.

> > 1 Thess. 4:[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to MEET the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. [18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
> > Here again, we see no reference at all that we are raptured before the tribulation. All we have established here again, is that there WILL be a day in which we are raised, changed, and when we will meet the Lord in the air.

This is the first "trump of God." It sounds at the first Rapture. In II Cor. 12:2-4, Paul said, "I knew a man in Christ (Paul himself, v. 6 and 7) above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up (harpazo, plucked up by force) to the third heaven (1. Mars, 2. Jupiter and 3. Saturn). And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise" (Heaven, Saturn).

Portraying the Pre-Trib Rapture, Paul was caught up to Heaven before the tribulation of those days ran from 63 to 70 AD. James, son of Joseph, brother of Yeshua/Christ was stoned in 62 AD.

Paradise is Heaven. Jesus took the contents of Paradise and the believing thief that was crucified with him to Heaven on Resurrection Day. In Luke 23:43, "Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

Rev 2:7 says, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." Nothing is mentioned about overcomers having to wait until the end of the shortened Tribulation to be raptured to the paradise of God. Overcomers are the wise virgins that have enough oil to keep their lamps burning brightly until they go with the Bridegroom (Mt. 25:1f). This is his coming in the air, not his coming at the Second Advent, when he puts his feet on the Mount of Olives and it splits (Zech. 14:4).

> > Another interesting fact concerning the rapture in this scripture (I Thess. 4:17) is found in the word "MEET". There are several Greek words that could have been used here that could have been translated "meet". This particular Greek word however, is found only a few times in the bible, and it has a VERY specific meaning. We find this meaning spelled out rather well in Acts 28:15. There we see that Paul was travelling to a town and was expected at a certain time. As his arrival drew close people from all around left the city and traveled up the road Paul would be coming down. They met him outside the city and escorted him back to where they had just come from. The word "meet" in this case meant to leave where you are, to "meet" an arriving party, with the intent of immediately escorting back. Since this is the same word used here in 1 Thess. 4, we see the intent of the Greek language. We are changed, depart from this world to "meet" the Lord in the air, and will escort Him back to the earth is all His glory!

The word "meet" in I Thess. 4:17 is "apantesis," a (friendly) encounter:-- meet." It doesn't mean to meet someone and escort them back where they started from.

The same word is used twice in the parable of the ten virgins. Mt. 25:1-10 says, "Then (when the foolish are 'cut asunder' (Mt. 24:51; Lu. 12:46) shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to MEET (apantesis," a (friendly) encounter:--meet) the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil (symbol of the Holy Spirit) in their vessels (bodies) with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom (Christ) cometh; go ye out to MEET (apantesis," a (friendly) encounter:--meet) him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut."

The wise virgins went with the Bridegroom (Christ) to his Father's house. The wise virgins don't meet Christ in the air then turn right around and come down with him to Earth. They are taken to his Father's house in Heaven.

In John 14:2-4, Jesus said, " In my Father's house (in Heaven) are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you (in Heaven), I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YE MAY BE ALSO. AND WHITHER I GO YE KNOW (to the third Heaven, Saturn), AND THE WAY YE KNOW."

> > Another interesting thing about this passage (I Thess. 4:13-17) is that, though pre-trib teachers use it, it PROVES there is no pre-trib rapture! Verses 15-17 show that those NOT dead at the time of the resurrection are alive 'til His coming, and there's only 2 comings of Christ! Also when pre-trib teachers try to tell us that He comes for us and then the church, this passage shows that we are resurrected at the time the archangel shouts!!! The trumpet sounds!!!! We SEE Christ come in the clouds!!! There is certainly NOTHING secret about that! AMEN!

You are assuming something that Scripture doesn't say, that "there's only 2 comings of Christ." He comes twice in the air and goes back to Heaven. He also comes two different times and sets his feet on Earth.

(1) First Advent - Tishri 1 in BC 5 to Nisan 13 in 30 AD
(2) First Rapture - before the first seal is broken in Rev. 6
(3) Second Rapture - between the breaking of the 6th and 7th seals (Rev. 6:12; 8:1)
(4) Second Advent - Nisan 1 (Eze. 29:17,21; Hos. 6:3), 7 months after the Day of God's Wrath (Eze 39:12,13)

> > 1 Thess. 5: 1-10 [1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. [2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not ESCAPE. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. [5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. [7] For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. [8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [9] For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, [10] Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, WE SHOULD LIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM.
> > This passage does not contain so much as a hint of the Lord rapturing us out before the tribulation.

The word ESCAPE in v. 3 is ekpheugo, to flee out. Those of the day will be raptured, and "WE SHOULD LIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM" (in Heaven). Those of the night will not be raptured the first time. They are of the darkness of the Tribulation, not of the day (before the Tribulation). They will be raptured on the Day of God's Wrath, but before it hits Earth at noon (Zeph. 2:3-5). That will be the day of thick darkness (Joel 2:1-3).

That day of thick darkness is not the Second Coming. Zech 14:4-7 says, "his (Christ's) feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come (Second Advent), and all the saints with thee (all saints are in Heaven by the Day of God's Wrath, 7 months before this day). And it shall come to pass in that day (the Second Advent), that the light shall not be clear, NOR DARK: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light."

> > Pre-trib rapture teachers for some reason say that the fact the Lord says He is coming as a thief, means "before the tribulation", but there is no precedent for this. Scripture does teach over and over that His coming will be "as a thief" to steal away the church, but it NEVER implies that this happens before the trib. When we really look into the scriptures they are plain that this day only overtakes the unbeliever as a thief, and NOT the believer, again as in the days of Noah. What's more, in Revelation 16:12-17, we see that the coming "as a thief" happens between the 6th and 7th vials. These of course are poured out extremely close to the end of the tribulation period.

Rev. 3:3 says, " If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." Turn it around. What will we know if we watch? He will not come on us as a thief.

> > Another portion of this passage in 1 Thes 5 twisted by the pre tribulation teachers, we see in verse 9, "for God hath not appointed us to wrath". Again, where does this tell us that we are raptured "before" the tribulation? It NEVER does. God makes Himself very plain as to what He is talking about when He says we aren't appointed to wrath IF these men would only finish the verse. This is classic smoke and mirror again. They have taken this very small fragment of a sentence to change the meaning of the entire passage. It goes on to say that we are appointed to OBTAIN SALVATION! We will not suffer the wrath of God in the lake of fire, but gain the eternal rewards of heaven!

In this passage, there are children of the day that will go up in the Pre-Trib Rapture. There are children of the night (Tribulation) that will go up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture.

> > Rev. 3: 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
> > Here again we can note 3 things;
1. There is no where any mention that God accomplishes this through a pre-tribulation rapture.
2. Since this is no where stated we do God a great injustice by limiting Him to a single option that never is mentioned in all of scripture.
3. God is able to deliver any way He sees fit.
> > Also to apply this passage in such a way as to attempt to justify the pre trib rapture by it is to play a very dangerous game with God. In Rev. 22:18-19 we are told that if we add to the words of this prophecy we will have the plagues of God added to us. If we take away from the words of this prophecy we will have our name striken from the Lamb's book of life. To say this passage tells us we will be raptured before the tribulation is to take away the words "keep" and "temptation" and replace them with "rapture" and "tribulation". Even in the greek there is no such way to translate it such, the KJV translates it correctly.

Rev. 3:10 says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from (ek, 'OUT OF,' as translated in Rev. 5:9) the hour of temptation (peirasmos, trial), which shall come upon all the world (only the Tribulation trial will come upon ALL THE WORLD), to try (peirasai) them that dwell upon the earth." After they are tried, those that wash their robes in the blood of Christ (Rev. 7:14) will be caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture between the breaking of the 6th (Rev. 6:12) and 7th (Rev. 8:1) seals.

> > Rev. 4:1 [1] After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
> > First this is used as a "type" though we never had a declarative scripture in the first place to bas this type on. They teach that since John was called up into heaven at this time it means there will be a pre-trib rapture.

The voice like a trumpet is Christ's "trump of God," the first trump. When John is caught up, all the other 23 elders are caught up. When they are caught up, the wise Philadelphian virgins are caught up. Heb 11:40 says, "God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect."

The types of the Pre-Trib Rapture are Enoch and the days of Noah. The types of the Pre-Wrath Rapture are Elijah and the days of Lot. Only rain fell in Noah's day. Fire fell in Lot's day, just as it will on the Day of God's Wrath. Luke 17:29 says, "But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all." On the Day of God's Wrath, the asteroids of Rev. 8:8,10 will impact Earth. The dead will lay around the Earth. In the worldwide earthquake every wall will fall (Eze. 38:20). The cities of the nations will be ruined (Rev. 16:18,19).

> > Secondly we are taught by these same men that the word "church" is never used again until we come to Revelation 19. ...You will also find that even though the word "church" is not used again til the 19th chapter, there are SEVERAL references to the saints. The saints ARE THE CHURCH!

There are Old Testament saints, Church saints, and Tribulation saints. The use of the word saints during that time refers to the Tribulation saints. However, the foolish virgins are the remnant of the Church, but they will be classed as Tribulation saints.

> > Rev. 4:4&10-11 [4] And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. [10] The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, [11] Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
> > This too is one of those passages where you just have to ask "what were they thinking?" Even thought we have never yet seen the scripture saying that there is a pre-tribulation rapture, these teachers tell us that these 24 elders are "the church"

Rev. 21:12-14 shows us who the 24 elders are. On the gates of the heavenly New Jerusalem "are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. On the walls are "the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb."

> > These are definitely a select group of men sometime between the time of Adam and now, but we are never told that they are a raptured church, and to say so goes completely against the scripture we are about to go into when we see exactly when we are raptured.
> > What DOES the bible say concerning the rapture?
> > We cannot know the day nor the hour, but we can know up to the day. Jesus did not eliminate knowing within a few days or a week, though at this point it would be impossible to tell because we haven't see the things come to pass that allow us to time it. There are timetables in Daniel chapters 8 and 12 that allow us to time the time of His coming. Rather than concentrate on something this close though, lets see if we can see from scripture the approximate time of our rapture in relation to the tribulation.
> > Daniel 11:40-12:1...[45] And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
> > Dan.12 [1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
> > VERY interesting passage here! What is it that this passage tells us about the timing of the rapture? Well we see that Armageddon is in following when all of a sudden, as Jerusalem is surrounded by all the major armies of the world, we see Michael standing for the children of God, Jew and Gentile! It's at THIS TIME that ALL who are written in the Lambs book of life are delivered! Are Christians written in this book? Well if they're not they are doomed for all eternity. So what we see here is that we are delivered (raptured) around the time Armageddon is starting.

Dan. 12:1 says, "there shall be a time of trouble (Day of God's Wrath), such as NEVER WAS SINCE THERE WAS A NATION EVEN TO THAT SAME TIME (it's the Day of Jacob's Trouble, Jer. 30:7): and at that time (1st day of the Millennium) thy people (144,000 Jews) shall be delivered (malat, ESCAPE; in the Pre-Wrath Rapture at the 'last trump,' I Cor. 15:52), every one ('ALL be changed,' I Cor. 15:51) that shall be found written in the book."

That is the last trump, the last Rapture. The first Rapture only takes up the Bride of Christ. This last Rapture will take up all the rest of the Body of Christ, thus completing the birth of the Body of Christ into a new world. Christ, the head, was taken up on Ascension Day in 30 AD. The Bride will be caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture. The rest of the Body of Christ will be caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture.

> > ...The next section we come to in Matthew 24 tells us of the day we will see the abomination of desolation. This is the day antichrist steps into the temple proclaiming himself to be God as told to us in Daniel and 2 Thessalonians.

Only the Tribulation saints will see the False Prophet sit in the temple "shewing himself that he is God' (II Thess. 2:4) and placing an image at the Temple. He does this when he comes to full power over the UN and UR (United Religions) Mid-Trib.

> > Now look what happens in verses 29-31! "Immediately after the tribulation of those days" we shall see the SIGN of the coming of the Son of man!!!! After the abomination on desolation, very near the end of the tribulation, we will see the angels gather the elect of God and take them to the Lord!

Mt. 24:27-31 says, "as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

This is his coming to rapture the Tribulation saints, not the Second Advent, when his feet touch the Mt. of Olives, and it splits (Zech. 14:5).

Continuing, Mt 24:28f says, "For wheresoever the carcase (i.e., the Bride of Christ) is (she is in Heaven) there will the eagles (aetos, wind-like flight; i.e., the raptured Tribulation saints) be gathered together (sunago, be gathered up together). Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened (it's the Day of God's Wrath), and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars (aster, star, asteroid, meteor) shall fall from heaven (Rev. 8:8,10), and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then (on the Day of God's Wrath) shall appear the SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

This is the SIGN seen in the heavens when the smoke is rolled aside like a scroll, not the Second Advent, which is 7 months future, Eze. 39:12,13). Rev. 6:12-17 says, "I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars (aster, stars, asteroids or meteors) of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and HIDE US FROM THE FACE OF HIM THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE (this is Jesus' Coronation Day in Heaven), and from the wrath of the Lamb: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?"

Mat 24:31 says, "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other." This gathers those already in Heaven to the "general assembly" in Heaven (Heb. 12:23). On Heaven's agenda of the day is Christ's Coronation, the Marriage of the Lamb, and the Judgment Seat of Christ.

> > There are some who say that this is Israel, BUT NO WHERE ARE WE TOLD THAT ISRAEL IS RAPTURED! ONLY THE CHURCH IS RAPTURED AND THE NATION OF ISRAEL RECEIVE THEIR KING HERE ON EARTH!

Rev. 7 lists the 144,000 Israelites. Then verses 9 and10 say, "after this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, OF ALL NATIONS (including Israel), and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne" in Heaven. Verse 14 says, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God" (in Heaven). This is Rapture two.

Rev. 14:3-5 says that the 144,000 are before the throne of God in Heaven: "And they sung as it were A NEW SONG (the Bride of Christ sang the new song at the 1st Rapture, Rev. 5:9) before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were REDEEMED FROM THE EARTH (At Rapture 2). (Only the 144,000 are added to the Bride group at the 2nd Rapture.).These are they which were not defiled with women; FOR THEY ARE VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are WITHOUT FAULT before the throne of God" (in Heaven).

The Tribulation saints are caught up to Heaven as the Bride saints are gathered from one end of Heaven to the other (Mt. 24:31). Mark 13:27 says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN."

> > As we go on examining this passage, we see that after the rapture, we enter a time that is the worse time that ever is. In Daniel as we saw, that time is during the battle of Armageddon. The timetables in Daniel 8 and 12, along with the scriptures concerning Armageddon, show us that this period of time lasts approximately 45 days and then the Lord comes to take the kingdoms of the world!!!

The Battle of Armageddon can't begin until after the Second Advent. It is Satan's last ditch stand, Christ's army against Satan's army. the war going on at the Pre-Wrath Rapture is between Gog's "all nations" (UN) army. Zech. 14:2,3 says, "For I will gather ALL NATIONS against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle."

What happened on "the day of battle"? Jos 10:11 says, "it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones (rocks) than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword." This was Joshua's Long Day, which prefigured Jesus/Joshua's Long Day as the Millennium begins.

> > We will NOT be raptured until after tha Abomination of Desolation and this occurs accordint to these passages (Mt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21), well into the tribulation. In other passages we see the rapture very near the end of the tribulation, but certainly never before.

> > 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 [20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. [23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
> > What does a believer of the word do? They believe the word over even their own thoughts or wishes. They do not attempt to explain away what is written, but they DO believe it as it is written.
> > If you are a believer of the word then this passage should settle ANY question you have concerning the timing of the rapture. Here we are told plainly that Christ is the firstfruits of the resurrection, and that ALL those who are His will be resurrected "AT HIS COMING".

We have to remember that there was no punctuation in the original scripture MSS. Let's look at I Cor. 15:23 again. It says, "But every man in his own order (tagmati, rank): Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming." Christ was the Firstfruit. Rom 11:16 says, "For if the firstfruit (Christ) be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches." He was the first rank in the First Resurrection, the resurrection unto life.

There are two resurrections. John 5:29 says, "And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE; and they that have done evil, unto THE RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION." There are ranks in the First Resurrection, Christ the Firstfruit, the Seed of the woman, resurrected on the Feast of Firstfruits, the Bride the firstfruits harvest, caught up in the 1st Rapture, and the Tribulation saints, caught up in the main harvest, the 2nd Rapture.

Rom 11:16 says, "For if the firstfruit (Christ) be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches."

> > Scripture tells us of the 2 comings of Christ, the first of which we have already seen. The second we see at the end of the tribulation in Revelation 20:1-4. Pre-trib rapture theory makes us have at least 3 comings of Christ.

Just as the Pharisees were blind to the Second Advent, some today are blind to the Second Rapture. They can see the first "trump of God" in I Thess. 4:13-18. But there is another at the "last trump" in I Cor. 15:51,52. Christ isn't going to subject the 144,000 plus all that multitude of believers that can't be counted in Rev. 7:9,14 to the wrath of God.

All believers have to be in Heaven before the asteroids impact Earth at noon (Zeph. 2:2-5) on that day for they receive their rewards at the same time that the unbelievers on Earth get their just rewards for their unbelief. Rev 11:18 says, "the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged (the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven), and that thou shouldest GIVE REWARD UNTO THY SERVANTS THE PROPHETS, AND TO THE SAINTS, AND THEM THAT FEAR THY NAME, SMALL AND GREAT; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth."

Zep 2:1-5 says, "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation (Israel, fulfilled in 1948) not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid (i.e., Raptured) in the day of the LORD'S anger. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast." The asteroid of Rev. 8:8 will impact the Mediterranean Sea.

> > 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 [50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
> > We see here another timing passage concerning the rapture. We are told that the coming resurrection takes place "at the last trump". Now Revelation shows us the 7 trumpets which sound during the tribulation. If the resurrection takes place before the 7th trumpet is sounded then this passage is lying to us.

This passage is telling the truth. The two trumps of God are not the same as the 7 trumpet judgments. Those 7 trumpets are sounded by angels, not God, and they are the wrath of God. Both asteroids hit Earth in Rev. 8:8,10. Civilization as we know it will be destroyed. Every wall will fall in the worldwide earthquake (Eze. 38:20).

The 7 vials are the results of his wrath over a bit longer time than the 7 trumpets sounded by angels. The vials fill up God's Wrath. Rev. 16:17,18 says, "the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, IT IS DONE (i.e., the asteroids have hit Earth). And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city (Jerusalem) was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of HIS WRATH."...
