Incoming Email Marilyn - that is so interesting about the sheep! And only being there for FOUR days?! What is that verse in the BIBLE that says FOUR months and then comes the harvest....?!
VERY peculiar! Odd that someone would put up fences and take them all down in that short amount of time!
14 dys. and counting!
My reply Keep me posted if you hear of more snow.
I just realized as I looked at my notes last night that May 13 is mighty like May 31. Proverbs 25:13 mentions "the cold of snow in the time (yowm, time, season, day) of harvest." That verse address even has 5 13 in it. Interesting. 5-13 is as close as you can come without it being 5-31.
John 4:35 says, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." And this wheat looks ready except down in some low places where it is still green.
Do you think this came to your mind to remind us that the wheat harvest is not four months away, Tamuz, Av, Elul and Tishri, i.e., not Rosh HaShannah, the Feast of Trumpets? It sure fits.

Incoming Email I enjoy the website and all the articles....I surely hope you are right about a Pentecost rapture...I used to think it would be on the Feast of Trumpets but do not now...even considered the month of Elul preceding the Feast of Trumpets which is a time of judgment according to Jewish tradition.
Only time will tell, but we are so close. May the Lord bless and keep looking up
Incoming Email I just wanted to say that I'm not sure of the date thing. I'm NOT saying that you are not right, But I'm not saying that you are wrong. That is not the thing that I am writing about though. I just wanted you to know that by reading your web page that my whole family has gotten more on fire for God...we want to be ready for Christ's return. I am really getting excited about the whole thing. I was before, but I had some things that were keeping me from fully feeling joyful about his return. Let me explain. I am 19 and a college student. I have grown-up in a Christian family all my life, but I fell away from the time I was 14 till really about a yr. ago. I have felt God leading me to Help in the Jr. High at the church that I am going to. I want to keep these impressionable teens from making the mistakes that I have made. I have the typical young girls dream. I want to finish college, start a career, fall in love , get married and give my parents grandkids. BUT I have always sort of felt like I would be cheeted out of life, in a sense, if God came back before I got to do all of this. Plus I feel like I have just started living for God. I found this very unfair when mom found your web page and told me about it. But the other day I was in the car and thinking about all of this when the song "People Get Ready...Jesus is Comin'" by Chrystal Lewis , This world has nothin for me, I find my peace and joy souly in you..." that part plus hearing about your page really got to me and I realized that it was true. I don't have anything here that gives me the peace like I find in Christ. AND although I would still like to do all of those things that I listed earlier I have even more joy in Christ return. God Bless
My reply Thanks for sharing this with us.
Things are going to get too terrible on this earth to want to stay. God promises that we will be happy in Heaven and that it is a better place. What more could we ask?
Incoming Email I'm 16.I saw your webpage just now and although for us Christians, this is supposed to be a joyous time, I'm really upset.Sure Ive heard that Jesus is coming soon but when I see something that believes its going to happen in about a month, that sorta freaks me out.I know you probably get a lot of email but I just felt like writing you.I can't stop crying and I'm scared. You probably find it odd that a saved person who loves Jesus as their Savior tremendously would ever have fear. But my family isn't saved and I'm only 16.Can't you imagine me wanting to grow up and have a family?I'm already fighting my battles all alone and I'd hate to see my family go to hell.Maybe its not the idea of Jesus coming back for me that scares me.Maybe its seeing something that resembles what people would do if we knew some type of meteor was coming and we had a short time to live."Be ready and buy your merchindise for a discount...after all,we won't be here much longer".Don't get me wrong,I'm not criticizing your page.I think its interesting. It just kind of hit me like a ton of bricks..I suppose I'll end this now before it gets too long and annoying.
My reply My previous email may be of interest to you. My answer to you would be pretty much like I said to her. I will copy it for you. You two girls might want to contact each other.
Incoming Email I have recently begun visiting your web site and find it a big wake up call for me. I have one question that has been eating at me for some time and I can't seem to find an answer. After reading all of your pro's and cons, it seems that you are a pretty good counselor, so I will ask you. I have a good friend named Michael, he has been trying to get me to go to his church with him and I am thinking about accepting( I feel that choices of a church to be very personal, so sometimes I am weary about trying new ones, my mind is very impressionable) Anyway, Michael goes to church all of the time and I really admire that, but he does one thing that troubles me. He smokes marijuana and I try to tell him that this is wrong, but he says that God created it so it must be alright. He says that drinking is not a sin so how can smoking marijuana, which God created be? I have looked through the Bible and I can't find anything to support my arguement with him, so I am stumped. He clearly loves Jesus, but I can't see how this would be alright. Can you give me some words to help me in this debate with him? Will he be lost? He is a good friend and we talk regularly about God and our Salvation( We're fishin' buddies) and I am concerned for him. Please help me out on this one!!!!
My reply If you read the Bible for yourself, you will know if a certain church is teaching the right things.
As for God creating marijuana, so it must be all right, that is a cop out. God created Satan, poisonous fish, poisonous plants, poisonous snakes, etc. Because they are there does not make it all right for us to interact with these things in any way we happen to want to. If that was so, he could smoke poisonous plants, but that would be most unwise. God expects us to use our head, stand up to our testing, and then he will bless us for withstanding the wiles of Satan.
Since he believes in Christ, he can't be lost, but he can lose rewards he could have had. We are running a race to win the prize of being worthy to be chosen as one of the Bride of Christ and be caught up to Heaven before the Tribulation. The Tribulation will be the worst seven years since Adam was put on Earth. We should do everything in our power to be worthy to be caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture.
Incoming Email Marilyn, thanks so much for your web page. I visit it often and am excited to read each new addition to your pro-con section. Your insights have given me a renewed "hope" and I pray that God will continue to open his Word to your understanding. So much of what the Bible tells us, along with the events happening daily, that point to your May 31 date. I have shared this sense of urgency that I have with my family and friends, however it is usually received with a smirk or a look like..."this poor misguided soul". Whether or not the rapture occurs on Pentecost this year I pray that we all will continue to look up...for it can not be far away. I know that you have been asked what your plans are for that day and you have responded that you do not know as yet. I live in Southern California and believe that this would mean that we should be on the lookout sometime around 3 p.m. on Saturday May 30th. What would you suggest as far as activities (i.e. prayer) leading up to this appointed hour?
My reply Don't worry about those who won't listen. Not everyone listened to Jesus, either. Look at some of the flack I get. The beautiful thing is when someone does listen and accepts Christ because of what you said. There is your reward. I like what Paul said in I Thess. 2:19,20: "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy."
As far as the best activities for that day, of course pray "that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Lu. 21:36). Mt. 24:45,46 says, "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing." Do you think answering email would qualify?
Oh, I got something of interest from Peter Michas. He is a Greek and says that the ten virgins should be translated "betrothed brides." I like that since they are the ones that go with the Bridegroom when he comes.
Incoming Email I thought you would like this. It has to do with scientifically verifying the Biblical account that the heavens stopped moving for exactly 24 hrs - a missing day. I wonder if this affects your calculations.
Please see this web page:
I finally purchased your book "The End of the Age". Very interesting and a lot of information packed into it!
I wanted to clarify a couple points you had made. On pg 33, to back up your argument that the moon came from the Pacific Basin, you said that the moon rotated at the same rate as the earth and that it is still moving away from us.
It is not rotating at the same rate as us, per se. It is not rotating at all relatively to us. That is why we always see only one side of the moon - the other side is always hidden from us. This was discovered to be due to the fact that a large iron mass is located on one side - the side closest to us. The earth gravitationally attracts this side to us.
The reason it is moving away from us is this:
The moon "drags" the tides around the earth as it orbits earth. Due to Newton's law, there is an equal and opposite reaction with the tides gravitationally pull on the moon, thereby slowing it down. When it loses this energy (i.e. by slowing down), it slowly moves away from the earth - about a foot or so a year.
I hope that helped.
I have always thought the idea that the moon was formed from the earth seemed to make the most sense.
Talk to you later. God bless you in the study of His Word.
My reply Thanks. I love to get this kind of information. The URL was one I wanted to save. It goes along with an article I have had for many years about the computer search at Greenbelt, MD.
I did not know about the mass of iron on the moon. When did they find it? Did the Clementine Mission find it?
That shows that the moon was not ever entirely molten or the iron would have formed a central core, huh?
This is what I found astronomers saying in my research long ago (it took 23 years to write that book): that the moon rotated at the same rate as the earth and that it is moving away from us. But, you know how things change as they find new data. They were shocked to find some water on the moon.
I seem to accept some things ahead of the bulk of scientists. Not that I'm that smart, but that I believe the Bible and they don't. I knew that the continents split apart in the days of Peleg, because Gen. 10:25 says, "for in his days was the earth divided." The scientists were a long time coming around on continental drift. Same with the moon coming from the Earth. Now many say the other two theories fail and that is the only one that seems plausible. The other biggie is that I know the Asteroid Belt was once a planet. A few suggest that every once in awhile but are not yet believed by most. New ideas do not take root very fast in the scientific world. Most still seem to say that the planetesimals there just did not ever form a planet, maybe because of the tremendous gravity of Jupiter.
Anyway, when I get to the Library, I try to grab Science Magazine and Sky and Telescope to keep abreast of the latest thoughts and findings. Yet, I have never seen this about the iron mass on the moon. I am so glad you told me. Got any other nuggets to pass on? Among many things my dad did, he taught science and imparted a healthy curiosity of these things in me. Besides, I think I must have been born with a need to know.
My reply > you stated that you are sure the rapture will happen in may of this year.
I am not a prophet. I can make mistakes. This is how it looks to me. Study the scriptures and see how it looks to you. Be ready in any event.
> I am afraid that if May goes by and
> it doesnt happen, alot of people will loose hope and faith.
What does it hurt to be ready, just in case? I know of one family that was certain it was going to happen in 1968. Did they lose faith? In no way. They are doing everything they can to alert people and get them ready now. I know of several that thought it would be in 1988. They did not lose faith. I know of several that thought it would be last year. They did not lose faith, either. Neither will I if nothing happens this Pentecost. My faith cannot be broken, no matter what happens. It can't be very far away any way you figure it.
Incoming Email Just got back last night from the night of Jubilee held in Orlando in honor of Israel's 50th birthday. It was great having fellowship with many other lovers of Israel. While there I purchased a talit and a shofar. At the end of the night, Benny Hinn was teaching and ministering on the meaning of the year of Jubilee and we learned that he has been invited by King Hussein to come and preach the gospel. Actually, the Jordanians are interested in the tourism money but Mr Hinn made a deal in that if he brought tourists there to Jordan, they would allow him to minister the gospel. While rejoicing and giving God all of the praise those who had the shofar were called to come up front (there were about 50 of us) where as we blew the horns, everyone else sang and danced. It truly was a night of rejoicing, one that I won't forget.
This afternoon I was praying for more insight and wisdom and came across some articles from Prophecy in the News - J.R. Church and Gary Stearman. I'm sure that you are familiar with their ministry. It seems to give a new hour for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost and that is 6:00 am or daybreak.
In the July 1997 issue there is an article entitled "The All-Night Vigil Of Pentecost" by J.R. Church. I thought I would send you some of the quotes from that article (everything from the *****s above and below is taken from the article):
***** To help us, I turned to The Three Festivals, a book written by Rabbi Yosef Stern. It is a work, not marketed through Christian bookstores, but obtanable only through Jewish sources...
A careful reading of the account in Acts 2:1, reveals that the Holy Spirit descended around daybreak - 'When the day of Pentecost was fully come." Over the next three hours, word of the phenomenon spread across the city and people crowded in to hear Peter say, 'For these are not drunken as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day (acts 2:15) Peter delivered his sermon at nine o'clock in the morning! Logic would have us assume that those 120 believers had stayed up all night - a ritual not unlike that observed by all Jews.
Jews regard the forty-nine days from the festival of firstfruits until pentecost as a time of 'spiritual puricication (taharah) that grows in intensity during the seven weeks of sefirah until it reaches a climax on the night of [Pentecost]." (p. 203) These forty-nine days are observed as forty-nine levels of purity - each day as impurity drops away, until at last, the initiate is free from earthly contaminant. Rabbi Stern writes: "During these days and weeks, our personal efforts to cleanse ourselves of spiritual impurities are critical. However, if we make sincere efforts during sefirah [the forty-nine days], we can be assured that [God] will shower us with an outpouring of taharah on the night of [Pentecost], as the Sages said (Shabbos 104a) someone who comes to purify himself will receive [Divine] help" (p 204).
This promised "Divine help" is describved as an "outpuring of taharah" - what we call, the Holy Spirit!
The result of the all-night vigil comes at daybreak as the jew recites the Ten Commandments. At that moment, it is believed that the Jew receives the "outpouring." Rabbi Stern writes: "King David alludes to the relationship between our efforts at discussing the Torah on [Pentecost] night and reciting the Ten Commandments the next morning ... we merit to commune with [God's] Presence the following morning through the Ten Commmandments."
Following the intense study of the five Mosaic books, during the all-night vigil, the morning session includes reading the entire book of Ruth out loud. Prophetically, Ruth points toward Gentile conversion.
Ruth is an important and essential part of the Pentecost ritual. Rabbi Stern tells his Jewish followers that she is a prophetic type of all Gentiles who will be invited to receive eternal life. He writes that the reading Ruth "... also reminds us of the final Revelation Day, a day as glorious as that on which the Torah was given, when Messiah ben David will appear .... If [Pentecost] marked the onset of Jewish history, then Messiah's arrival will be its splendid climax, when all of humankind will flock to [God]" (p 218)
My reply Thanks for all this interesting information. It looks like you have given us a good synopsis.
> daybreak - 'When the day of Pentecost was fully come."
This makes sense because John 20 says, "THE first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre." Thus, when the daylight was fully come makes sense. However, we still have the wise virgins hearing the cry at midnight to take into consideration. They did need lamps to see by. We just need to be ready whenever it happens.
Incoming Email If the end time is at hand where is the end time prophet of Malachi 4:5
My reply Mal. 4:5 says, "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful DAY OF THE LORD."
The millennial Day of the Lord will, I think, begin on the Feast of Trumpets, 5768 (our Sept. 13, 2007), the 2300th day (Dan. 8:14) of the Tribulation/Seventieth Week of Daniel. Elijah will be energized by the Holy Spirit and begin his 1260-day prophesying on Pentecost/Feast of Weeks at the beginning of the Seventieth Week of Daniel, on Sivan 6, 5761 (our May 28, 2001).
Incoming Email Dear sister, grace be unto you from God the Father, and peace and joy from Jesus Christ our Lord.
I work in a prison as a correction officer and have been blessed in many ways to carry out the Lord's work there as He leads me to the lost, that may find life through our Savior, Jesus Christ. I realized later after perhaps a year and a half, that being led to the prison to work was much more than just a means to support my family ! It was our wonderful Lord answering my desire to serve Him in whatever way He saw best for me. Well, personally having inmates asking me to help them come to Christ cannot be compared to anything on earth ! I will not know what I did to deserve such inner happiness and love for others, but my Lord surely has blessed me in ministering to the "sin shackled souls" in prison, and have seen many break those chains through our Lord's love and power of salvation....
I finally will ask my question. Have you heard of the belief that hell is not eternal, and is there a web site which I can use to show that this belief is in fact not biblical. I have given many scriptures which indicate that hell is an eternal place of torment for unbelievers, but some still insist that they feel that the place itself is an eternal place of torment, but the people that go there are only there for a short time of "purging", in order to purify and make ready their soul for heaven ! I know I do not see this as biblical, but "reaching" for something that they want to believe. Can you help me to bring as much as possible to these folks ?
The belief in all eventually being saved is usually attached to this same "brief stay" in hell for some. I believe it is called Universalism, which has grown in numbers as people become less attached to sound doctrine and go through denial. Please help me to get as much info to bring to these folks as possible. The hour is late, and believing as they do can only lead to a false sense of salvation and security.
Thank you again for your wonderful testimony and mighty work that the Lord has accomplished in and through you. May God protect and bless you and yours from the evil one.......see you in the rapture !!!
P.S. Thought you would enjoy the following:
The Day I Decided
I'm a part of the fellowship of the unashamed, I have Holy Spirit Power, the die has been cast, I stepped over the line, the decision has been made, I'm a disciple of Jesus. I won't look back, slow down, or back away. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future's secure. I'm finished and done with low living, side walking, small planning, smooth knees colorless dreams, tainted vision, mundane talking, cheap giving and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotion or popularity. I don't have to be first, I don't have to be right, I don't have to be recognized, I don't have to be praised, regarded or rewarded. I live by faith, lean on His Presence, love Him by patience, live by prayer, labor by power. My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companion's few, my Guide reliable and my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I'll not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won't give up, shut up, let up until I've stayed up, stored up, prayed up, payed up and preached up for the cause of Christ. I'm a disciple of Jesus, I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own He won't have any problem recognizing me. In the glory of my Savior, I pray, Amen.
Keep on looking up !!!
My reply > Now, that I have taken so much of your time, I finally will ask my
> question. Have you heard of the belief that hell is not eternal, and is
> there a web site which I can use to show that this belief is in fact not
I don't know about a Web site. How about some Scripture?
Mt. 25:46 says, "And these shall go away into EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT: but the righteous into LIFE ETERNAL." If the life eternal is everlasting, the punishment is everlasting too.
II Thess. 1:8,9 says, "on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with EVERLASTING destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power."
